هذه هى العينة الوحيدة لتمثال صمم من كرة صلصال صغيرة وتركت لتجف طبيعياً. شكل التمثال تجميع كرات دائرية ذات أحجام متناقصة باستخدام موضوع مقعر، وطول التمثال اسطوانياً بحيث شكل عنقاً ونهاية بزائدة صغيرة تمثل الرأس. انتفاخ بسيط يعلم الصدر، في حين لا يشار الى النهدين. أهمية تلك التماثيل الانثوية ووجودها في المقابر أدى الى طرح نظريات مختلفة. على كلٍ، نتيجة غياب أية مصادر كتابية أو معلومات محددة عن المعتقدات الدينية لتلك الثقافات، علينا التزام الحذر في تفسيرها. في حين أن التماثيل كلها دوماً ما يتم الكشف عنها في بيئة جنائزية، فإنها وجدت في محتويات مختلفة، في مدافن أطفال، ونساء، ورجال، بعضها غنية بمرفقاتها الجنائزية، رغم أنه في حالات يكون التمثال المرفق الجنائزي الوحيد في المقبرة. الشئ المؤكد الوحيد أن التعبيرية المميزة لجسم الإنسان ليست نتيجة انعدام مهارة الفنان (واحد من هذه التماثيل صنع بطريقة واقعية تكاد تشكل أساساً لمحاضرة تشريحية فيسيولوجية)، وإنما للرغبة في إبداع تصوير رمزي للمرأة (ويلسبي وأندرسون، 2004: 45)

This is the only example of a figurine fashioned from a small ball of clay and simply left to dry. It was shaped by attaching round balls of decreasing size together by means of a concave object, and is prolonged by a kind of cylinder, forming the neck and ending with a small excrescence that represents the head. A simple swelling denotes the chest, while the breasts are not indicated. The significance of these female figurines and their presence in the graves has given rise to several theories. However, in the absence of any written sources or specific information about the religious beliefs of these cultures, one has to be very cautious in interpreting them. Whilst always in a funerary environment, they have been found in different contexts - in graves of children, women and men, some rich in grave goods, though occasionally they were the only such object in the grave. They only certainty is that the schematization of the human body is not due to a lack of skill of the artist (one figurine is made in such a realistic fashion that it has formed the basis of an anatomic-physiological lecture), but to the desire to produce a symbolic representation of it.
